These Terms govern your use of the Meridian Passport app and related services. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy.

1. About Meridian

Meridian is operated by Meridian, a personal small business registered in Denmark under CVR 46426703.

By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using Meridian, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Meridian.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Meridian.

You are responsible for your account, profile, Passport Stamps, photos, and account activity. You must provide honest profile information, protect your sign-in access, and not impersonate another person.

3. The Meridian service

Meridian is an iPhone travel passport app for recording visited places, bucketlist places, and Passport Stamps.

New passports are public by default after profile setup. Public passport information may appear in community features, search, and leaderboards. You can make your passport private in Settings.

Meridian is currently free. If paid features are introduced, relevant terms will be shown before purchase.

Meridian does not provide official travel, visa, legal, health, safety, or government advice.

3.1. Find My Stamps

Find My Stamps can suggest countries and Passport Stamps from dates and locations stored with photos on your iPhone. Suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect and are not proof of travel.

You review the suggestions and decide what to add. Nothing is added to your Passport until you confirm it. Saved results are treated like other Passport data and may be visible to others if your passport is public.

4. Your content

Your content includes profile information, avatars, social links, country marks, Passport Stamps, dates, descriptions, photos, tags, mentions, and other material you add.

You keep ownership of your content and must only add content that you own or have permission to use.

You give Meridian permission to host, store, process, resize, display, moderate, and distribute your content as reasonably needed to operate Meridian, show your passport, support sharing actions, provide support, and maintain safety. This does not give Meridian unrestricted permission to use identifiable content in advertising.

You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful, respectful, and does not violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

5. Public and private passports

When your passport is public, other users may see your public profile, Passport Stamps, photos, country progress, travel activity, social links, follows, Nice activity, and leaderboard or search presence.

When your passport is private, Meridian hides your passport from other users and disables social discovery, following, Nice activity, and related notifications. Your saved social links remain visible to you.

Switching to private permanently removes followers, following, Nice activity, and community visibility. Your personal Passport data remains unless you delete it, reset your travel data, or delete your account.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Meridian for illegal, abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, harassing, violent, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing content or behaviour. Child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, or endangerment is strictly prohibited.

You must not share private personal information without permission, distribute malware, spam or scam others, scrape Meridian, bypass access controls, evade blocks or moderation, interfere with the service, or access information you are not permitted to access.

7. Safety and moderation

Meridian may use text filtering, reports, blocking, and administrator review to address harmful or unlawful content.

Meridian may leave content unchanged, limit its visibility, remove it, suspend an account, or permanently terminate an account. Serious or unlawful matters may be reported to relevant authorities.

You can submit reports through available app controls and contact support@meridianpassport.com regarding reports, appeals, or safety concerns. Meridian does not guarantee a specific outcome or review time.

8. External services and sharing

Optional social links may open services such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X. Meridian does not control those services, verify account ownership, or accept responsibility for their content.

If you share content through the iPhone sharing controls, the receiving service's terms and privacy policy apply. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Meridian.

9. Account deletion and travel-data reset

You can reset visited countries, bucketlist places, Passport Stamps, and related travel statistics through Reset Country Data.

You can delete your account in Settings. Account deletion removes your account and associated Meridian data from normal app use, subject to limited retention for backups, security, legal compliance, unresolved reports, and abuse prevention.

10. Meridian's rights and app licence

Meridian owns the app, brand, design, software, and non-user content.

You receive a personal, limited, revocable, and non-transferable right to use Meridian. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, copy, reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse it, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

Meridian may change, limit, pause, or discontinue features to improve the service, maintain security, comply with law, or address technical issues.

11. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and Meridian, not Apple. Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

Meridian, not Apple, is responsible for the service, support, and claims relating to Meridian. Apple has no obligation to maintain or support Meridian. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple-related provisions of these Terms.

12. Availability and liability

Meridian is provided as available. Meridian does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that all suggestions, maps, user content, or travel information will be complete or accurate.

To the extent permitted by law, Meridian is not responsible for indirect losses, lost data, travel decisions, user conduct, or events outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

13. Changes and termination

Meridian may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the app and may require renewed acceptance.

Meridian may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm others, or create legal, safety, or technical risks.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Danish law, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country provide additional rights.
